This stunning motorcycle is one of the engineering innovation for automotive industries made only possible by 3d printing technologies. The aesthetic frame design is made through generative algorithms which itself a engineering art.
The material used here is Scalmalloy which is a combination of corrosion resistance, light weight aluminum and high strength titanium. The model consists thousands of thin layer just 60 micron thick. The organic structure has hollow sections which reduces the weight up to 30 percent compare to other motorcycle.
The organic complex shape can only be manufactured by 3d printing technology which make the light rider weighs just 35 kg. It can achieve a max speed of 78 kmph in 3 seconds. The light rider is designed towards city driving equipped with battery that can go 60 km before needing recharge. Overall the light rider will cost less and open a new era of green transportation which is appreciable.
