I’m missing my second to right front tooth. I’m not a candidate for traditional oral surgery or cosmetic repair. Given a 3D plaster mold of my current teeth, is it possible to design and print a functional tooth to fill the missing gap, attached from behind, possibly anchoring on to other teeth? Color matching? Plastic material needed? Thank you!

Hi duff1098,

My dad is a dental technician and what he says is that this conventional 3d printing isn’t precise enough. He does print teeth but at another company that has the special printers. If you want to contact the company this is the website: http://www.straumann.com/en/home.html

Maybe they can help you with that.

If not. You can also contact envisiontec. (they also have that special printer) https://envisiontec.com/
