Hey guys,

Been trying everything with my FlashForge Creator Pro. It doesn’t matter which head I use or how many time I redo the balancing of the plates I keep getting this.

1. I am using ABS

2. My settings are

20% infill

.2mm

1 shell

36 feedrate

30 travel feedrate

print temp 225

bed temp 110

Hi,

It seems like your printer is either pushing too much filament through the nozzle or the printer settings are not quite right for the filament you are using.

Firstly the motor may be pushing too much filament through the nozzle meaning extra filament is being used causing it to leave lumpy spots. Another factor is how hot the nozzle is, which if too hot can cause the filament to drop out leaving splats which cool and form lumps. It may also have something to do with the speed at which the cooling fans cool the filament. If it cools it too fast, it will leave small peaks, and too slow will result in it to drip leaving uneven surface.

I would advise you look into the details of the printer, checking what settings it should operate at and see which filaments work with the printer. You should also read the filaments instructions to ensure all settings are correct.

If anyone else knows how to better resolve this problem please let us know.

Hope this helps.
