How long are the samples? Can I get extra filament since I run a long bowden tube on my Rostock?
@Nikki would this be possible?

I dont think so. I’ve think moving my extruder closer any way, so it wont be an issue.

Let me know if anything I can do to help.

Sounds good @Bone! It’s pretty neat stuff and you wouldn’t be the first to max on the sample packs
Hey, this is Matthew Gorton fromPrintedsolid.com. I am looking forward to making the long train ride up from Delaware to speak about colorFabb filaments at this event.
For those not familiar, Printed Solid first brought colorFabb to the US in mid-2013 when PLA/PHA was the only material offered and have had the fortune to be part of the ride as they’ve launched more and more innovative filaments. So, I’ve got a lot of hours printing all of their materials on a number of different printers.
As the workshop description says, we’ll be focusing on XT-CF20 at this workshop, but I’ll talk a bit about the other materials in your sample bag as well.
If anyone has any specific topics they’d like me to hit on or demo prints they’d like me to bring, just let me know and I’ll do what I can to oblige.
Thanks so much to @Nikki for inviting me and @AtomJaay for hosting!

I will be bringing in 3 bronzefill items of my own, all with NFC inside! The metal content does not seem to have any effect on the NFC signal.

That’s awesome. Looking forward to seeing it in person!
Change in plans for me. Due to the Amtrak tragedy in Philly, I won’t be taking the train. Bad news for me means I have to sit in the car for a long time. Good news for all of you is I can now bring filament with me. 15% off for any cash orders on filament I bring with me. We’re pretty well stocked right now, so let me know if you want me to bring anything.
The workshop was a success and we’re very grateful for @Roel making all the way up to Boston and for Danger!Awesome allowing us to have the run of the place. Hopefully we furthered the local 3D printing community by equipping them with cutting edge materials and some tips to get great results.
