Hi all,

I’m looking to expand my printing, and I’m in the market for a printer with a heated bed. Are you upgrading? Do you need a buyer for your old printer?

Ideally somewhere in the Midlands (Birmingham to Sheffield, Stoke to Nottingham).

I have some mechanical/electrical troubleshooting ability, so everything considered - including printers for spares or repairs.

Hi I have and original up plus which is surplus to requirement. Heated bed and an additional temperature control, it has had issues with pla but abs is good could be useful for spares etc Sound interesting?? Let me know Cheers Alex

Sounds interesting. I’ve not seen an up plus (google likes the up plus 2). I assumes its the same chassis as the plus 2?

I would probably replace the control boards with ramps and marlin.

What sort of money are you looking for?

Yes it is a few years old now, the difference between the 2 is obvious improvements, upgraded components etc and they updated the heated bed I think.

Mine is black, I have broken the seal on it, not that the warranty was valid at that time anyway. I did this to upgrade the limit switch wire which was causing some issues.

I’d be looking for £350. I am Derby based but can organise delivery at an additional cost.
