123D Catch alternative

Can anyone recommend a turnkey program like 123D Create used to do, to take a series of photo of an object or person and have the program create a 3D model? I’m looking for a paid or free option, Mac or Windows. Just want something fairly simple to use.

I tried that once but it didn’t seem to do the same. I did panoramic shots around a subject and the program mapped the whole scene, but hardly any detail ok the subject.
