I don’t own a Shapeoko but I have seen one in person and it is a nicely made router. I came from CNC machining (still do it on a homebrew CNC converted mill) and it is a nice piece to add to your collection. That said it takes some skill and a LOT of attention to safety as your working with sharp tools and flying pieces of metal/plastic/wood… let alone working with lasers which is even scarier in my book.

My main thing is just keep an eye out (literally) for safety!
