Hello,

Yes, that is the “Normals” being reversed.

In Blender you can select the entire model in edit mode and key, "cntr, and ‘n’. to turn all the Normals outward.

Maya has a similar feature, but I do not recall what the command is.

In Blender you can also indivually select each face and key, 'cntr and ‘w’ to bring a menu up and select “Flip Normals”.

@wirlybird I would agree with if I had I not dealt with the “Makerbot Print” software first hand. Attached is a screen shot of the available printers for offline printing. The Replicator+ only exports *.makerbot files… which is why i recommended the Replicator 2 option. But this maybe why I hate this program too. I would like to go back to the “Makerbot Desktop” but that is not compatible with Windows 10… Hate them both…

You can’t use that for clones. You need to go to an older version of Makerware. More recent versions have become proprietary for only Makerbot printers.

Also, the Replicator 2 is not the same as the clones. For one it has different values for the steppers.

Flashprint is the best choice for a free slicer for a Creator Pro or Tech-1.

 Would you happen to have a link of the older Makerware. I sure like printing directly from a PC. I have antiquated Laptops ready for interfacing

I’ll see what I can find. I think Makerware 2.4 was the last version that was ok. Funny thing is their newer Makerbot print doesn’t even support their older printers such as the Replicator 1.

Thank you. I had a POS laptop directing 2 printers, one for each port. Yeah 2 USB ports a real POS, but I put it to hard work. But one thing led to another and its so tiny I lost it, lol… Thanks again in advance.

Try this.

Otherwise I’d google for Makerware 2.4.
