Here I just share with you guys my latest design of chinese chesses. The picture is in isometric look and I like it very much, I first have seen this kind of picture (usually for cartoon animation) from internet, then I though why shouldn’t I print something like this with the same good looking.
Now I’ve made my original one. The NFC tags can be embeded inside too!
As I said, it’s printable, not just illustration, here is the print one, layer height 0.2mm:

Great design and execution - as always!! Did you design these yourself?
How awesome would it be to use the NFC in a way that the board senses where the pieces are, so you can play against someone else via the internet - but with a real board?

Yes, I designed this by myself. The play via internet is a pretty cool idea, I should make this in next steps.
The board you see in the picture can be printed, but to realize the internet function it needs to be re-designed, to embed the sensors…I need to check the feasibility.
If you have software backgrounds or you know some software specialists, I think we can work on this together.
