Thanks Ronan!

Just be very weary if you go the ultimaker route I hear that they are very high maniance machines with not much of a build volume which is what you need.

So you see Lance, 27000 hubs and an equal amount of advice! the development is going fast, do not buy to complex machines and look what you want to do with it. Its better to buy a few small machines . Look at the userfriendlyness of the slicersoftware ( software that turns the stl. into a printable code)

Design with sketchup make with a plugin to inspect solid, so students can see actually if there design is printable, and then let them learn how to use slicer software. Because a lot in printing has to do with shit in shit out. Good luck with you decision and if you want to know more about Leapfrog and slicersoftware as Materialise and Simplify just ask, or contact me directly through my hub

kind regards

Look at Afinia H480, it is a SOLID bult printer, very reliable, very user friendly,

small foot print too.

you can probably get 5 machines if you contact them directly and tell them what you need.
