Sounds like a clogged nozzle. Raise Z height to 100 and using Repitier Host or just the control dial on the printer tell it to extrude 110cm of filament. It should come out straight down without curling back up onto the nozzle. If it curls, you’ve got a partially clogged nozzle. Either take it apart or find something slightly smaller that .04mm -heat the extruder to 220°C and clean with it all together.
I had this problem when i was printing with a 0.3mm nozzle but the software thought i had a 0.4… Not sure it aplies but it’s similar to a 3 week fighting period with my printer…
I was having this issue. Try tightening the bed tighter than you would think, that seems to help.
Try changing the setting: First Layer Thickness to 0.15 mm. Using this setting, without a raft, leveled pretty high, and elmer’s glue on the bed, it made a super mirror like good bottom finish(I also have a wanhao duplicator i3 clone)
