Do you guys happen to know what type of bearings are on the idler side on the x-axis of the CTC 3DPrinter? Mine split in two when I dismantled the x-axis to find what was causing some terrible clicking sound… Let’s just say I found the cause but don’t know what to replace it with.

Do the bearings spin without them feeling like they are binding in any manner? If so, I would use the same bearings again as it seems like the problem had to do with failure of the plastic part. Finding replacement shoulder type bearings can be quite difficult. Does the manufacturer of the printer sell those?

Just a thought!

You could try flashforge, they are the same as CTC, I buy parts from them replace my CTC and works fine.

Edit: Oops, looked at the picture wrong and thought that you were asking about the pulley on the long shaft, not the bearing on short shaft.

Don’t know what that one is, but if you measure the shaft diameter, the outer diameter w/o the flange, and the thickness. You should be able to find it on google pretty easy. Guarantee that it’s an industry standard bearing, and if it fits, it’ll work just fine. There is nothing particularly precision in that joint, so any correctly sized bearing will work great. From looks I’d guess its an F623ZZ, but can’t really tell without measurements.

They were definitely bad! One bearing just split apart on disassembly. I did end up replacing the bearings, I’ll post the measurements and details for anyone else looking for it when I get back to my desktop. Thanks everyone!

I took measurements like you described and managed to replace the bastard. Thank you sir. I’ll post this details later today.

Didn’t find the bearings here but the other parts will come in handy!! Thank you
