Wow, David, this is one impressive print! Not sure if you saw this one the guys from @bart_7 didhttps://www.3dhubs.com/talk/thread/my-epic-print

If you have more, make sure to share them with the entire Mankati community, it would be nice to ‘grow’ a nice collection

Nice one, Marcha! Make sure to tell us all about it here, in the Markati community.

Hi David,

Your ‘review’ of the Mankati is two year old by now.

Could you tell me how you experiences with the Mankati have been over the last two years.

Do you still like it? Have you had any troubles with it?

Hi TypeR

Yes I still use the Mankati and only had a few issues. Grand kids dropped something onto the print bed and put a big chip right in the middle. I added one of those flexible and removable print plates. Fantastic, sticks well and easily remove print once bed is flexed.

Also had a few months of layer adhesion fail. Software update had set fans to max all the time so was cooling the nozzle down. Took ages to figure this one out.

Apart from those problems all is good. In fact, plenty of 3d printers I know say your prints are always so good what are you doing different to us. The answer is nothing I just stick in card with the file on it and set it printing. Can’t remember last time I levelled the bed it was that long ago. pretty much all the settings I use are out of the box standard. It’s almost like plug n play. Personally I think it just a case of egg juggling. Once you are confident and not too precious things just work.

Regards
Dave
