Consumers Energy has activated the 44-MW Cross Winds Energy Park II in the Columbia Township of Michigan.
The $90 million, 19-turbine development began operations six months after its groundbreaking.
In total, Cross Winds is expected to grow to 155 MW with 81 turbines. The third phase of the development is expected to go into commercial operations by 2020. The first phase began operations in 2014.
